Dyslipidemia, an illness marked by elevated triglyceride and cholesterol levels, is frequently seen in thyroid disease patients. The disruption of lipid metabolism caused by both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism might result in imbalances that raise the risk of cardiovascular disease.
