In current era, huge amount of data is readily available. Many tools and techniques to for implementation are also available. However, not every tool and technique can be applied to every application. Therefore, in order to perform a specific task knowing right devices and strategies is vital so that venture assets are not under or over used. The motivation behind writing this literature review paper is to help the reader in gaining valuable insight into such varied and rapidly changing technologies so they can gain long-term benefit instead of continually spending resources on the architecture. This paper will give various bits of knowledge on reasons regarding why SQL or NoSQL bought to be chosen for a specific task. Moreover, the various opportunities provided by big data analysis using SQL and NoSQL technologies will also discussed.
