In this paper, an implementation of an end to end fault tolerant solution for Dynamic traffic recovery has been performed using a centralized controller. SDN develops programmability within a network by providing flexibility towards innovation with variant policy implementation, as vendor specific policy building restricts dynamic application building. The Minimum Spanning Tree (shortest path algorithm) has been implemented providing resolution for loop confrontation and reduction in convergence delays with faster transmission towards the destination. The algorithm not only maintains loop avoidance procedure within a recovery time of 48 to 60 msbut provides fault tolerance at a faster rate for the provision of an alternative route in case of link failure.
