A Survey on Virtual Working Effects on Human Health and Their Productivity

Corona Virus pandemic has significant changes the way of doing work in the early year of 2020. A flexible work schedule allows employees to work virtually from home as this pattern of job continuity during the crisis, virtual working environment is implemented by organizations and gets benefits from a new concept of virtual work environment that increases productivity, efficiency & quality, but on other hand, the virtual work environment can cause humans severe health issues that affect the productivity as well. The major goal of this research is to look at how WFH affects employee productivity & health while working in this environment, but it has some favourable impact on productivity but not on health. A virtual work environment needs a proper place for executing daily official tasks. Working at home with discomfort position and posture can lead to any kind of medical issues, the research mentioned that most employees spend about 4 to 8 hours of their workday sitting, mostly in this kind of job that involves extensive computer use in an office setting may raise the risk factor for different medical condition chronic issues, type 2 diabetes, obesity, coronary artery disease, muscle & joints disorders and other as well. The findings by survey in this paper suggest the proper implementation of a virtual working environment.
